Matilde San Jose Polido

Polido, Matilde San Jose, age 94, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024 in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born in Cavite, Philippines on March 14, 1930 to Isabel and Cayetano San Jose. Matilde loved her family, hardworking, kind, dedicated in everything including a strong passion for education since she worked 30 years retiring as a Principal for public schools, very independent, resourceful, enjoyed cooking, gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of fifty nine years, Cecilio G. Polido; son, Cedric Polido (Lota); grandson, Nico; sisters, Avelina Legaspi, Adelaida San Jose; brothers, Ruben San Jose, Melchor San Jose, Ildefonso San Jose.

Matilde is survived by her daughters, Myra Aldi (Anthony), Mylene Palania; son, Cezar Polido (Kelly); grandchildren, Jianna, Kenneth, Christopher, Andrew, jonathan, Katelyn, Elyta, Liam; sister, Marcelina Inocentes; brother, Amerubre San Jose. She will be loved and cherished by a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held from noon until Services at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, Ohio 45011. Father Jeff Silver, officiating.
