Linda Haddix

Linda Lou (Dean-Spaulding) Haddix, age 77, of Hamilton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2017. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her bedside. Linda was born in Brooksville, Kentucky on September 21, 1939. She was the daughter of Emery Earl and Margaret Dean. Linda married Chelsea "Sonny" Spaulding from 1958 to 1978. She then married Elmer Haddix in 1979 till his death in 1989. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jack Dean and her husband Elmer Haddix. She is survived by two loving daughters Rene' Sue Spaulding and Rachelle (Greg) Grupenhof; a devoted companion and caregiver, Sonny Spaulding; grandchildren Jen (Jake Borries) Grant, Stephanie (Alan) Weber, Keith Grupenhof, Austin (Cora) Grupenhof, Jordan Grupenhof; great grandchildren Mat Grant, Tempe Grant, Ronen Grupenhof and Leo Grupenhof along with numerous family and friends. All of Linda's life was devoted to deep love for her family and friends. A visitation will be held at Ivey Funeral Home on Thursday, April 27, 2017 from 4pm-6pm with a funeral service to follow at 6pm. Private burial to take place at Rose Hill Burial Park.
