John Edward Tuttle, Age 81 of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017. He was born on September 24, 1935 in Lily, Kentucky to Sim Tuttle and Mary Parker. John served in the United States Navy for 20 years. He married Jean Tuttle on October 24, 1970 in Olathe, Colorado. She survives. John worked as a meter reading supervisor for the city of Hamilton for many years, before retiring in 1995. He then resumed work at a local golf course for 14 years. John was a devout Christian, and was a member of the Church of God. In his spare time, he loved to golf, bowl, and spend time with his family. John is survived by his wife Jean, of 46 years; children Donna, Dennis, Danny (Gaylene), Doug (Deanne); grandchildren Allen and Mike Slusher, Barbara and Mark Egbert, Jeffrey, Scott, and Jenny Paynter, Angie Settle, Justin Williams, Lindsey Arrowood, Jason Williams, Traci Rodriguez, Bryan Williams, Rebekah Wilhelm, Elijah Wilhelm; many great grandchildren; brother Elmer; and special brother and sister in law Bill and Brecky Dathe. He was preceded in death by his children Darlene and Dean; sisters Martha, Faye, and Pearl; and his parents. At the request of the family, a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
