John Messer, age 60, of Somerville, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents Oval Messer and Irene (Virgil) Humphries and his sister, Ruth. John is survived by his wife, Brenda; daughters, Lori (Ron), Sami (Clay), Bobbie (Mike), and Johnna (Jody); ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters; one brother and a very special mother-in-law, Mary and special friends and family. The family would like to extend a special thanks to his friends at the Arrow and AMVETS.
