Bonnie Sue Terry Ivey

Bonnie Sue Ivey, age 68, of Hamilton passed away at Triple Creek Retirement Center on Sunday, December 25, 2011. She was born in Oneida, Tennessee on August 31, 1943, the daughter of Kilby and Loteena (Keaton) Terry. Bonnie was a 1962 graduate of Garfield High School. On December 13, 1980, in Hamilton she married Roy L. Ivey. Bonnie was employed at Ohio Casualty for 34 years retiring in 1996. She was a devoted wife and mother and a member of Zion United Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Roy L. Ivey of Hamilton, and her son Steven K. Ivey of Lexington, Kentucky. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Claudene Knox and June Watters; brothers, Harold, Amos, Carol, and Cleston Terry; and a special friend, Margie Hardy, who she joins in Heaven. Funeral services will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Ave. at South “D” St., Hamilton on Wednesday, December 28th at 10:00 AM with Pastor Derrick Lay officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 PM to 8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion United Baptist Church, 1300 Parrish Ave., Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
