She is survived by her son, Liam Martin, and companion Sean Duffney; and resided as a family in beautiful Wallbrook, Annapolis Valley. She was a very special sister to Danielle (Andy Kubik) and Leigh (Fred Daniels), and her 11 nieces and nephews who loved their Auntie Shannon dearly. She was predeceased by her parents, Georgine (Gaudet) and Thomas Martin.
Shannon spent many years working as a Legal Assistant and in the administrative field in various professional offices throughout Nova Scotia. She explored a short career in personal care with seniors and shared a very special connection with her clients. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home Mom and living in the country. She had a love for home cooking and made the best of meals for all who had the pleasure of being at her dinner table. She cherished her time with family and friends, enjoyed music and dancing, reading, and most of all spending time with her beloved Liam. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and the lasting impact she had on everyone she met. She had a vibrant personality and approached every situation bringing positivity and her charismatic sense of humour.
