So very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. While we had only known Bob for a few years as neighbors, he was a very kind, talented and good man. He loved to talk about his family, sports, and some of our more "unique" neighbors! He had an absolutely wonderful sense of humour. We feel very privileged to have known Bob and will greatly miss his presence. Sending our sincere condolences to his family.

 So saddened to hear of your dad’s ( my favourite Uncle ) passing. 
I have very fond memories of him . When I think of a couple truly in love - it was your parents - hands down. 
  So rare it is to have such kindness , patience and gentle wisdom delivered with grace and humility.  So fortunate are those to have known him. To learn from him.

I went to St. Pat's from 1982 to 1985 so I had known Mr. Nadeau for a few years.  I had him as a teacher and in a guidance counselolor capacity.  It was during a very difficult time in my life that I the opportunity to talk to Mr. Nadeau , not as a teacher but as a friend. He was so kind, compassionate and thoughtful.  He knew I was lost and flailing and his support was like an anchor in the storm.   I will never forget his kindness. It had helped me greatly.  Teachers and people like him are so rare nowadays and the world was a better place for having him in it.  My sincere condolences to your family.

I wish to extend my sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of your Father. I worked with your Dad for many years at St. Pat’ s High, and I greatly enjoyed Bob as a colleague who was a dedicated educator and the heart and soul of the theatre productions performed at St. Pat’s.

It saddens me greatly to hear this news. He was a wonderful teacher, well liked by all his students and we'll respected. He also happened to be my parent's neighbour and I enjoyed our many chats together whenever I'd see him outside. His kindness will never be forgotten and my thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. 

Shane: I was very sorry to hear about you father.  He was a very fine person.  He loved you and  your mother very much.

With my wife Linda working at St. Pat’s for many years I met Bob at many of the school events such as bowling and summer party’s, quite a few at our home in Stillwater Lake. Bob was a beautiful kind man who cared deeply about family and dedication to his career. Great memories. All the deepest sympathy to Bob’s family. 

To the Nadeau family, my deepest sympathies on the loss of such a fine man.
I was a student at St Pat's during Mr Nadeau's tenure.  He had such an incredible impact on my life and the lives of all of us that found our place in the theatre group, both on and off the stage at St Pat's in the 80's. During the most impressionable and difficult teen years he always treated us as people, unique individuals, and encouraged us to have the confidence to become who we would be. He held us accountable and taught  us respect and the result of hard work. His example was what we wanted to emulate.  Mr Nadeau was not just a teacher. He was an educator.  Thank you for sharing him with all of us, his students.

To the family of Mr. Nadeau,
Thinking back on my time at St. Pat’s, I have so many happy memories which include Mr. Nadeau: from giving amazing guidance, super support with our musicals, to always having a welcoming smile for every student. Please know that he helped shape the lives of countless students and I’m sure of his colleagues.

To Bob's family,

I was so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. I taught at St.Pat's with Bob. He was a most generous and kind person. He always had a smile and was eager to help anyone. I also worked on the musical productions with Bob. He was a talented man in many ways. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Bob touched so many people. He will be missed. May his soul rest in peace.

To Those Whose Lives were Touched by Mr. Nadeau:

I was a math student who would’ve tested any teachers mettle, Mr. Nadeau was among them. It wasn’t that I was a bad kid, but, WOW, was math challenging for me then. Not only did Mr. Nadeau spend countless hours of his free time helping and encouraging me, he also drove me to and from school when my family fell on some hardship. We connected during those times, and also during the musicals, which seemed to play more to my strengths. I have thought often of him over the years, with immense gratitude, wondering where life’s journey took him; life sounded very rich, indeed, based on these beautiful tributes. If I’m half the teacher and administrator he was, I’ll be among the best. Rest well, Mr. Nadeau, and thank you for giving me so much of yourself.

My sincere condolences to all of you for the loss of a great man. I have so many fond memories of uncle Bob growing up. I will always remember all the many visits and also great trips we had down into the States. He was such as wise person yet had such an endearing, humorous side to him. I will dearly miss him. My heart goes out to all of you.

Mr. Nadeau was a wonderful educator.  During my time at St. Pat's I was privileged to help Bob with the amazing sets he would develop for the musicals.  He was a kind, dedicated and hardworking teacher.  My sympathies to his family.

Mr. Nadeau was a talented and thoughtful teacher, one part of a great staff at St. Pat’s in the late 70’s.  I was fortunate to be taught math by Mr. Nadeau in both grades 10 and 11.  From the obituary, it is clear that his family have many happy memories, and hopefully those are of comfort in the face of the loss that you have suffered.

We were always in the same class and the teachers were confused because we were both R. Nadeau, so they called your dad "Nadeau the blond" and I was "Nadeau the dark" because of our hair colour.
He was always a lot of fun to be with.

Mr. Nadeau, as we students knew him, was simply a great teacher and more importantly a wonderful person!!    He always had time to help any student who needed a little bit of help and encouragement.   I remember reluctantly knocking on the teacher’s lounge door looking for that one teacher who could make sense of this “new Computer programming code”.   Lol. I have fond memories of the attention he gave me that assisted with my development and success as a student and a person.   He will be missed.   He was one of the good ones!!!   

I am sorry to hear of Mr.Nadeau's passing. Not only was he a good teacher, but a nice guy. When you met him in the hall, you would get a smile and hello as you passed by. This meant a lot to students.

I was surprised and saddened to read of your Dad's passing.  We worked together closely over our shared years at Saint Pat's and I was deeply impressed by the extra time he dedicated to his position and to our annual musical productions.  His commitment to those shows cannot be overestimated and he will be remembered fondly by all involved with them.  I especially appreciated his patience with me and my lack of computer literacy and the times we shared on the "Fighting Irish" bowling team.  May he rest in peace and may you remember his life and contributions with pride.

                We will always miss your dad , great man and had a great sense of humour, we always enjoyed his visits to our house growing up as kids , both Bob and his wife Dianne were a great couple .
