Robert Richard Harland

Bob is predeceased by his wife Sharon (Bezanson) of 57 years and is lovingly remembered by his son Richard (Corinne), daughters Michele, Sandra (David) all of Halifax and Annette (Brian) of St Andrews, NB and his sister Marion (Ernest) Pompa. A special place will remain in the hearts of his grandchildren Laura (Stu), Charles (Katie), Becky (Jeff) and Laura (Jeff) all of Halifax, Cory (Megen) of Toronto and Andrea (Dan) of Edmonton, Ben (Jordan) of Fredericton, Kate (Jared) of Saint John, Emma and Emily Jayne of St. Andrews as well as his great grandchildren Owen, Parker and Amelia in Halifax. Bob was predeceased by his sisters Theresa, Bernadette, Elizabeth and Anne (Michael) Burke and brother Joe.

The family would like to offer sincere thanks to the wonderful care givers at Saint Vincent's Nursing Home who provided a warm and compassionate home for the last 6 years.

Bob worked at EMI-Cossor Ltd. and Hermes Electronics.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to J.A.Snow Funeral Homes, 339 Lacewood Drive. Visitation will be Friday 2 to 4 pm at Snow’s and funeral service will be held 10 am Saturday at Saint Mother Teresa of Kolkata, 6032 Normandy Drive, Halifax.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia or Saint Vincent's Nursing Home in Halifax.
