It is with deep sadness that the family of Richard Billard announces his peaceful passing on March 20, 2014 at the age of 69.
Born in Halifax, he was the son of Cecil and Marie (Gray) Billard. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Sullivan) and son, Richard (Lisa) all of Halifax, brothers, Doug, Toronto and Raye (Eileen), Halifax, as well as nieces, nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Over the years Richard enjoyed hunting with his father-in-law, sailing, golfing and after retirement his many summers at the cottage in PEI.
As per his wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will take place in J. A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax (455-0531) on Tuesday March 25, 2014, at 6:00 pm. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
