Born in Aguathuna, Newfoundland, Paul was the only son of the late Laura Archer (Elliott) and William F Curran. He moved to Halifax at age 17 and later lived in Lower Sackville, where he raised his family in a great neighbourhood.
Paul attended Saint Mary's University attaining a Bachelor of Commerce degree following with his accounting designations. He spent the majority of his career working at the Province of Nova Scotia, starting as Auditor and retired as a Director. His family was his pride and joy. Paul enjoyed travelling with his family, golfing, watching baseball and learning about new technology and gadgets.
A quiet, reserved soul, he delighted everyone with his thoughtfulness, sharp mind, quick wit and he enjoyed good-naturedly teasing his family. He is greatly missed and loved by his wife, Helen Curran (Halifax), twin daughters Colleen (George), and Carolyn, Halifax. Predeceased by step father Raymond Archer.
