Clark, Olive Ruth, Age 82 of Halifax passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2015, surrounded by family in the Halifax Infirmary. Born in Pictou County, she was a daughter of the late David and Mary (Adamson) Clark. Olive was employed by Great West Life and later with Immigration Canada retiring after 22 years of service.
She is survived by sisters Lena (Steve) Stevens of Toronto; Annie May Wray of Niagara Falls; five nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother George Howard Clark.
Visitation from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015, in Cruikshank’s Halifax Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor Street. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 22 in The Presbyterian Church of Saint David, 1554 Grafton Street, Halifax with Rev. Kenneth Stright officiating.
Interment will be at a later date in Durham Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of 8.1 at the Halifax Infirmary for the care and compassion shown to Olive during her lengthy stay.
