Montgomery "Monty" Harold Gregory

Monty was born on November 28, 1949 in Annapolis Royal, NS. He was the son of the late Malcolm and Shirley (Refuse) of Hillsburn, NS.

Monty was a scallop fisherman in his early years but due to an injury he changed careers. He worked in the printing industry for Bolands and then Quebecor, retiring from there in 1999. In his retirement years he enjoyed travelling. Monty had a passion for cooking and was an avid coin collector.

He is survived by his wife Carol Hudson, sister Prudy (Carl) Saunders, brother Henry (Neta) Gregory and nephew David Snow, Peter and David, nieces Gina and Shirley Jane.

He was predeceased by his parents Malcolm and Shirley Gregory, brothers Alan, Anthony, Webster and nephew Tryson Saunders.

A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Hollenhorst. A special thank you to Monty’s team of caregivers at the QEII - 6A for their care and compassion during a difficult time.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of J.A. Snow Funeral Home. A private family service will be held at a later date.
