Michael worked for the Nova Scotia Power Corporation and Department of National Defense for over 27 years as Lineman-Electrician. He was a member of the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and the Order of Demolay.
An avid Motorcyclist, who bought, repaired and sold Motorcycles from the time he was in High School, until later in life, and was a huge fan of movies and the Beatles. In addition Mike enjoyed playing darts and pool in various leagues and tournaments.
He is survived by Adam Drover (Son), Zoe Pearce (Granddaughter), Dominic Drover (Grandson), Breanna Wilkes (Granddaughter), Angela Howatt (Niece), Chris Fleming (Nephew), Michelle Drover (Niece), Darrell Drover (Nephew), and many other loved family members. He was predeceased by Annie Drover (mother), Walter K. Drover (Father), Leslie Drover (Brother), Karen Fleming (Sister), Gary Drover (Brother), and Victor Drover (Brother).
A Memorial service will be held 1pm November 10, 2017 in Cruikshank’s Funeral Home, 2666 Windsor St. , Halifax. Pastor Douglas Howatt officiating. Interment in Camp Hill Cemetery.
