Marguerite was a war bride who arrived at Pier 21 on the Acquitania (RMS) in 1946. She was President of Halifax Dartmouth and Area War Brides for over 20 years. Her family meant the world to her, especially her daughter. She also loved spending time with all her friends.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, James Michael, and her brother James.
Survived by daughter Susan (Don), Middle Sackville; sister, Doreen, Leeds England; grandchildren, Colin and Alexander; and great -grandchildren, Brady and Emerson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, from 1:00-2:00 pm, with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm, all in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive, Halifax, NS B3S 0E1, (902-455-0531). Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
