Lorraine Alice Pottie

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, Lorraine, age 91, at the QEII Health Sciences Centre on October 11, 2021. Born in Halifax, she was the daughter of the Late John & Mary Harris.

She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Nancy (David) Gray, Sambro; Paula (Ken) Cormier, Halifax; Grandchildren, Ryan and Emily, Erin, Steven and Hannah, Brittany and Mike and Brandon; great grandchildren, Reid, Clara, Bryn, Joni and Bret; her best friend Dot and her partners in crime, Marina and Todd.

She was predeceased by her loving husband and soul mate Gerard Pottie and sister, Marion Velemirovich.

Arrangements have been entrusted to J. A. Snow Funeral Home. A service will take place on October 21st at 12:30 PM at Stella Maris Parish, St. Michael’s site, 6 St Michaels Ave, Halifax. Interment will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery where she will be reunited with the love of her life.
