McGILL, Karen Marie— 56, of Hammonds Plains, passed away peacefully at home with family at her side after a brief battle with her illness. Born in Charlottetown, P.E.I., she was the daughter of the late Robert William McGill and Joyce Marie Duncanson. Karen had a big variety of interests, including gardening, painting, quilting and spending time at the family cottage. Karen was the source of much laughter, wisdom and sparkle for her family. She is survived by her husband, Ron Bezanson; daughter, Meghan Bezanson; son, Evan Bezanson; sister, Brenda McGill (Michal Wawrosz), Montreal. She will be missed by her dog Piper. Visitation will be on Friday, May 7, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Dr. where a memorial service will be held Saturday, May 8, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Molly Appeal.
