Dear Clayton Family,

I am so sorry that I was away when our beloved Bro. George transitioned into eternity.  He was so faithful and committed to his service in the church as an usher. 

We enjoyed good talks and shared prayers throughout his journey of illness in these latter years.  I am grateful that I was able to visit him and share the Lord's Supper before I left town, not knowing I would not see him again.

God keeps his promises and has promised to comfort all who mourn. I pray that your hearts have known the comfort of God in these days since Bro. George's passing.  May you be at peace, even as Bro. George is now at peace.

So sorry to hear of Georgie's death,I will never forget his smile, he always had time for a chat or a quick hello. May you be comforted in knowing he is at home with our lord.

At any of the Blues/Jazz festivals and events, George's attendance could be counted on, often being one of the first on the floor to help  get the  dancing started, people often envious of his "jive style".    His presence will be greatly  missed, however, we know he's once more "dancing his way home"

My sincere condolences to all of George family. George was a very good friend to my father Eric Murphy who passed away last year.  I grew up on Duffus street the same street where him and his family lived and I remember  all of the good times “the boys” had when I was growing up, when they had a party they had a party. I remember watching them all dance together and boy could George get down lol..I know you’re dancing in the sky now Georgie, May you rest in Heavenly Peace🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

Very sorry to read the passing of one of my favorite dancers.
Many a jive we performed at the Fairview Legion.  Always delighted on arrival to see George present. May god take extra care of him as he was a special person. Condolences to all his families at this very sad time.===Crab an angel in heaven, George and teach them how to Jive.

Sincere condolences to George's family and friends.  I would always look forward to getting in a dance with George at the Moustache during the Saturday matinee.  His sweet demeanor,  contagious laughter and snazzy dance moves could bring joy to many! RIP and keep dancing, George!
