2022, at the Halifax Infirmary at the age of 72.
Left to carry on his memory are his wife Rita of 51 years, daughter Tina (Sheldon) Norman, son Andrew
(Norma) MacGregor and granddaughter Jenna Norman all of Halifax. He was predeceased by his parents Vaughn and Josephine "Josie" MacGregor, brothers John and Ira MacGregor and Sister Lea Campana.
Gary was a welder/pipefitter of local 244 for many years to which he dedicated his life to his job so he
could provide for his family. Gary was quiet in nature but loved to socialize and talk especially when it
involved politics. He loved to spend time on his computer researching and educating himself. He enjoyed to read and watch sci-fi shows, history shows and yes, anything politics. Beside the love for his wife and children he treasured his granddaughter Jenna. She was his ray of sunshine that made him smile every day. He loved her paintings and drawings and all of her hugs and kisses she was his precious little girl.
In Lieu of flowers, if you should want, please make a donation in his name to the diabetic association or
