Eric David Rushton

Eric was the son of Roy Rushton and the late Sylvia Rushton, brother to Joanne, loving husband to Cynthia, superhero dad to Sarah and Mark who he shared with former late wife Susan (née Hardy), new grandfather to Zoey, and best friend to many.

With a zest for travel and a passion to live life without any rock unturned, Eric positively impacted many with his comedic turn of phrase and leadership in a variety of circles. A business owner and entrepreneur, Eric finished his career as a CMA in the role of CFO of the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation.

Eric was also a leader in the martial arts community, paving the way for Combat Hapkido in Canada. With a wide array of passions from music, photography and art, to motocycles, cooking, kayaking and adventure, Eric leaves all of us with the message to do what you love and to try anything.
