Denis’ true passion was the ocean, his sea life started with joining the Canadian Armed Forces, Navy. After leaving the Military he went on to achieve his Captain’s title with Masters Mariners of Canada. He sailed many vessels around the world. As his sea life came to an end his love of Antique Cars and Automotives blossomed and he opened Deni Automotive Service in his backyard that served many members in the local community.
Denis could always be found tinkering around outside in the garage, attending car shows or hunting down the next great Texaco sign.
He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, sharing a drink of rum and teasing those around him.
The family would like to personally thank Lilly for the love, compassion and care she showed our father and we are forever grateful for the role you played in his life. We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses, VON, QEII for the care they showed him during his battle with cancer.
Cremation has taken place and a gathering will take place at a later date.
