Abbott, Barbara Helen age 66 of Halifax Passed away June 23, 2016 at home. Born in Montreal, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Eugenie (Lockhart) Abbott. Barb worked for many years at the Victoria General Hospital and the Halifax Infirmary. One of her main interests was music, especially singing and in later years playing the clarinet. Barb is survived by her sister Nancy Abbott ( Volker Wipprecht) Berlin Germany and many friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Wednesday June 29, 2016 and memorial service 2 pm Thursday June 30, 2016 both in Fort Massey United Church, 5303 Tobin St. corner of Queen St. Halifax. Rev.
