Dear Carole,

We met at a gathering one pleasant afternoon at the dog park. My late wife, Marianne Bertucci-Lockard, was one of Peter's friends from the dog park. She really enjoyed his friendship and how he made her laugh. There were many times when Marianne would come directly from the dog park to the airport to pick me up and our ride home was filled with funny stories from the dog park which always featured Peter and Stella. 

Peter's emails to Marianne during her final days put a smile on her face because of the wonderful memories she there. It was truly special time and I have very vivid and joyful memories of Peter's laugh when my visits at the dog park.

I hope that your grief is giving way to the wonderful memories of the life that you shared with Peter. 

I am very sorry for your loss and I regret that I did not know Peter had passed until last week.

Carole - I am shocked and saddened to just hear of Peter's passing.  I spent almost every weekend with Peter for almost ten years and he was one of the most kind, warm, humorous, friends I have ever had.  Noah and Bryce are still in touch with each other.  I will always remember the great times the four of us had on the soccer field and travelling everywhere together.  My condolences to you and the family.  He will always be in my thoughts..

Carole  it has been 12 years since I talked to Peter but he has been on my mind every time I have a computer or handheld problem. I can remember him being at Pepsi in Kinston nc and he would tell me he needed to call Noah. If I called at 5 am he would answer my call.  I enjoyed  talking to him and working with him.  I can see him n my mind n the office at 5 :30 am working on computer just like I left him the evening before. I am sorry for your loss but remember he will always be in our mind and heart.

Dear Carole: Peter was one of those individuals I liked within the first few minutes  of meeting him. So warm and friendly, and each time we saw you all and Stella in the park or at City Bark I always felt the same way: "He is a heck of a nice guy." Dear Carole.....Andy and I were shocked and saddenned to hear about Peter's death. What a treat it was to run into Stella and her Daddy in Audubon Park or City Bark. I am another Camp Lowy old timer. Unfortunately I had not kept in touch with Peter over all those years, but it is largely through his efforts that the extended group met in my house a little over 2 years ago. I will always be grateful to him for making that happen. The second I saw him all the sweet memories of our childhood came flooding back. We are all so shocked and deeply saddened to hear of his passing. I hope it gives some comfort to you to know that the love you had for Peter was shared by so many.
