Lynne Bergman

Lynne Bergman, 80 of Hackensack, New Jersey died on Friday October 11, 2024. She was the cherished daughter of Milton and Betty (Stuchinsky) Pomerance, loving sister to Mauna Gallo and Maxine Falk. She is pre-deceased by her long time partner Martin Finkler. She is survived by her two daughters Melissa Wood and Stacey Needleman; her son-in-laws Brian Wood and Jared Needleman, her grandchildren Haley, Jacob, and Mady Needleman, and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

Lynne was a bright student who graduated early from Theodore Roosevelt High School and then attended Hunter college. She later earned a masters degree in Education and her Ed. S in Marriage and Family Counseling. She worked in schools, hospitals and most memorably in her own private practice.

Lynne was an avid reader and master at the New York Times crossword puzzle. She loved being around her family and friends, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was deeply spiritual and shared that with those that she loved.

A graveside service is being held on Tuesday October 15, 2024 at 11:00am at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, New Jersey.
