Barry Jay Miller passed away peacefully on October 11th, 2024. He was known for his unwavering kindness, sense of humor and lived a life filled with love for his family and friends. Barry had a career as a history, math and audio visual teacher for 25 years in The Bronx, NY. His hobbies included playing golf, tennis and being the “mayor” (life of the party) of his country club community in Delray Beach, FL.
Barry is survived by the love of his life, Teddy; his daughter, Michelle (David); his son, Robert (Lori); his beloved grandsons, Jared, Adam, Josh, and Daniel; his sister, Janice Halila (Al); and his brother, Jeffrey Miller (Paula).
Barry’s warmth and generosity touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who had the privilege to know him.

A Chapel Service for Barry will be held 1:30 PM on Monday, October 14, 2024 at Gutterman and Musicant Jewish Funeral Directors, 402 Park Street, Hackensack, NJ 07601. Burial will follow at Cedar Park and Beth El Cemeteries, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ 07652.
Friends may arrive at 12:45PM for ample time to pay respects to the family. Our parking lot is located across Park Street opposite the Funeral Home.
