Thaddeus Michael (Ted) Bond Jr., (58) passed away unexpectedly Saturday December 21, 2024. He is survived by a large, loving family including his wife of 32 years Julie, daughter Jessie (Kevin), daughter Abbey, father Ted Bond Sr, brother Bill (Liz), sister Jackie (Mark) Senger, and many others. He was preceded in death by his mom, Joyce Bond. Ted was a practicing lawyer for 33 years. Being with his family and friends was the only thing he enjoyed more than golf. He shot his lowest score this year, an even 80, at his favorite course, Glen Flora Country Club. Before golf fame, he won 3 consecutive national championships playing football at Augustana College, after suffering through four seasons playing at his beloved Carmel Catholic High School. An avid Chicago Sports fan, Ted cursed the woeful season of his best-liked Chicago White Sox. His favorite saying at home was “Life is short. Eat the cookie.”
Celebration of Life Glen Flora Country Club, 2200 N Sheridan Rd, Waukegan Sunday, December 29, 2-5pm If you would like to donate in Ted’s name, he enjoyed his relationships with The Special Recreation Association of Central Lake County (SRACLC) and Carmel Catholic High School
