Herminia Abengoza Ramos, age 82 passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024. She was born in Ragay, Camarines Sur, Philippines. She was the 5th among 6 children. She finished Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at the University of the East in Manila, Philippines. Herminia lovingly served as an elementary school teacher for almost 40 years. She taught 3rd grade until her retirement.
She is survived by her children (Thaddy & Yvonne, Herma & Bobby, Jennifer and Kit), her beautiful grandchildren (Kiara, Kealan, Bianca, Banjo and Bea), her sister ( Lourdes), and her nieces and nephews.
Herminia is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Ramos, his parents, Pedro and Nonelona Abengoza, her sisters, Adelaida Ruy and Anicia Olisea, her brothers, Rodrigo Abengoza and Ruben Abengoza.
A visitation for Herminia will be held Friday, December 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 305 N Cemetery Rd, Gurnee, IL 60031.
