She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and served on the Altar Society and as Eucharistic Minister. Mary loved to cook, sew, crochet and square dance. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing scrabble and reading. She also enjoyed meeting with her brother and sisters on Friday's.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Laurent Daniel Hebert and Laurina Patin Hebert; and her loving husband, Serven Joseph Doré.
She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Doré and wife, Brenda; Larry Doré and wife, Vicki; Darrell Doré and wife, Lupita; Norman Doré and wife, Karen; Alan Doré, Mark Doré and wife, Caryl; daughter, Yvette Champagne and husband, Mark; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2014 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church, Port Arthur. Rite of Committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
