Barbara Ann Cole

Barbara Ann Cole, 76, of Grove Hill, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Diversicare Nursing Home in Foley. She was born February 5, 1941 to John E. Baugh and Eizabeth Henson Baugh. A member of Uriah United Methodist Church, she was also a member of the Monroe County Women’s Auxilliary. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing piano. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elvin “Sonny Boy” Ross and siblings, Clifton Baugh, Beatrice Newton and B.J. Baugh. She is survived by her children, Randy (Karen) Brooks, Melinda (Travis) Kelley, Jeff (Tammy) Brooks; grandchildren, Jessica (Bill) Yance, Miranda (David) Richardson, Jordan Brooks, Brad (Leandra) Goodman, Brett (Dallas) Goodman, Anna (Justin) Redditt, Trey Brooks; great-grandchildren, Sadie Margaret Richardson, Olivia Richardson, Parker Goodman, Ava Goodman, Maddie Goodman, Ali Redditt and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Lathan Funeral Home in Grove Hill with the Rev. John Coker officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Magnolia Lawn Cemetery with Lathan Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Brett Goodman, Brad Goodman, Jordan Brooks, Bill Yance, David Richardson, Trey Brooks, Justin Redditt and Roger Newton.
