Melynda R. Wallace, age 60 of Columbus passed away Monday, January 30, 2023 at Kobacker House. Melynda was born in Columbus to the late Evan and Pauline (Vigger) Strayer and graduated from Westland High School, class of 1981. Melynda was a loving and caring mother who always put her children first. Family meant everything to her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Mark S. Wallace who passed in 2021. She is survived by her sons Matt and Ben (Mandy) Wallace; grandchildren Kyleigh, Maleah, and Benny Jr.; sisters Leah (Brian) Gray and Debbie Strayer; brothers Eric and Dirk Strayer; mother-in-law Rose Wallace; and many other relatives and friends. Private services are being observed at this time
