Joseph Baumbusch

Joseph “Joe” Baumbusch, 76, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024. He was born August 23, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Joseph Frank and Helen (Hunter) Baumbusch. He was retired from Honda and had a passion for fishing and spending time with his family. Known for his incredible skills, he could fix just about anything and remodeled many rooms in his home with meticulous attention to detail. A talented handyman, he took great pride in his work. He was also a devoted sports fan, especially of the Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes, and cherished celebrating the holidays with his loved ones. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen. Joe is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue Baumbusch; daughters, Shellie (Rob) Sharfenaker and Shannon Baumbusch; son, Scott (Melissa Metheney) Baumbusch; sister, Marsha (Ronald) Holmes; Charles “Charlie” (Kathy) Baumbusch; and many beloved grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
