John Glenn Bishop, age 61, of Grove City, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 7, 2024. He was born June 14, 1963 in Marion, Ohio to the late Isaac Wesley and Helen Joyce (Burns) Bishop. He was a car enthusiast and passionate about automobiles, primarily focusing on Ford models. He started his career working in the automotive industry for Firestone and then Edison Automotive and gained experience as an insurance adjuster with Allstate. Later, he became the body shop manager at Dick Masheter Ford Inc. John enjoyed restoring classic cars, particularly his 1967 Mustang fastback GT and buying, fixing and reselling cars. In addition to this, he loved RV camping, boating, dirt bike riding and engaging in various outdoor activities. He also cherished the time that he spent traveling with his wife and daughter. He loved the beach! John is survived by his wife, Amy of 22 years; children, John (Michelle) Bishop, Jr. and Hope Bishop; grandchildren, Rori, Cash and, Abella Bishop; brothers, his twin Jay Bishop, Jim (Helen) Bishop, Joel (Sharon) Bishop, and Jerry (Diana) Bishop; sisters, Jeanette (Steve) Sanger, Jackie (Doug) Greenup, and Jill (Gary) Littleton; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. A private memorial gathering for John will be held at a later date.
