Lisa Melodie Roberts was born on May 2nd, 1967; the oldest child of Irene (nee Nardoni) and Paul Willard. She grew up in Harper Woods, attended Harper Woods High School and graduated in the St. Clair Shores school district. Shortly after school she became a Detroit police officer. Lisa left the police force to become a dental assistant in the city of Warren. She met the love of her life Jeffrey Roberts on a blind date. They fell madly in love and were married on April 11, 1997. They started their life together on Willowby Street in Eastpoine and were blessed with two sons; Anthony and Joseph. Lisa enjoyed soaking up the sun, teaching her boys the love of the Lord, and was amazingly creative when it came to her artistic abilities. Later on in her life, her family moved to St. Clair Shores where Lisa was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She became a member of the MS Society and was always surrounded and supported by family and friends. Lisa always stayed strong through her sickness. One of the proudest days of her life was being there when her oldest son Anthony graduated from culinary school. She was equally proud of watching her son Joseph growing up to become a man and supported his interest in cars. She was nothing but a proud and supportive mother. Lisa was an active member of Grace Community Church and always held out a helping hand for others. Her memory will always be in the hearts of her family. Lisa is survived by her mother Irene (J.D.). She leaves behind her siblings Paula (Ron) Hill, Frankie Score, Ann-Marie Score, and Amber Score (Nick). She will be missed by her friend Donald Baumgartner, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Paul. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29th from 2:00 until 8:00 pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave., at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Her funeral will be held on Friday at noon at the funeral home with Monsignor G. Michael Bugarin officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Michigan Chapter, 21311 Civic Center Drive, Southfield, MI 48076.
