Elizabeth Gail Howard

Elizabeth Gail Howard, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Gail was the devoted wife to James “Jimmy” Howard. Cherished daughter to Mary Faye Alcorn and the late Frank Neal Alcorn. Dear sister to James (Connie) Alcorn. Loving aunt to Matthew and Daniel Alcorn. Adored niece to Mark (Alice) Alcorn. Gail is also survived by many loving relatives and dear friends.

Gail was a devoted wife to Jimmy Howard, friend, aunt, sister, cousin, and daughter. She knew exactly how to bring out the laughter in people. Whether you were at a family gathering, holiday party, or barbeque, Gail was a bright light in the crowd who you always wanted to talk to.

Gail was also the primary caregiver to her mother, Faye, for many years. Even in times of extreme hardships and challenges, she always managed to take care of her with love, dedication, compassion, and kindness, devoting her life to her mother’s care.

May Gail rest in peace, alongside the many angels who have passed before her, including her father, Neal, best friend, Diana, and many more. She will be severely missed.

Visitation for Gail will be on Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 10 AM until 12 PM at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. A funeral service will be at 12 PM at the funeral home immediately following the visitation. Gail will be laid to rest at Christian Memorial Gardens West Cemetery in Rochester Hills, MI.
