Donna Denise Schultz

Donna was born on February 16, 1957 to parents Robert and Joanne Golen, older sister to Robert. She graduated in 1974 from St. Florian High School in Hamtramck and attend Mercy College of Detroit, where she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Donna worked as a registered nurse until becoming a full-time mother after her third child was born. As a mom, she dedicated her life to supporting her children and being a constant presence for them throughout the years.

Not only was Donna devoted to her family, she was also a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Every morning, you could find her reading her Bible and praying faithfully. She was active in her church community, teaching women’s Bible study and volunteering at local church events. She was passionate about spreading the love of Jesus to those in the community by working with the homeless and underprivileged.

Donna is predeceased by her loving husband, Charles “Chuck” Schultz, as well as her grandson, Noah. She is survived by her loving children, Michelle (Jeffery) Anderson, Kelly Mahalak, Brian Dunn, and Kyle (Denise) Schultz; step-children, Jeremy Schultz and Elizabeth Schultz; and grandchildren, Brooklyn, Charlotte, Ashton, Evie, Isla, Mason, and Logan.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 2-8pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home located at 20705 Mack Ave. Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at 6pm at A.H. Peters Funeral Home located at 20705 Mack Ave. Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236.
