Mr. Walker was born in Eastman, Ga. on June 20, 1935. He was the son of the late William Gaynor Walker Sr. and Gladys Conley Walker. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Walker was a member of Paran Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Faye Bunn Walker.
Survivors include his children and spouses; William Allan Walker, Sherri Walker, Joe and Kim Walker; grandchildren, Ansely Walker, Joey and Christina Walker, Jackie and Tripp Hicks, Chelsie Metcalf, Brigett Walker, Taylor and Jamie Phillips, and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. .William Gaynor Walker Jr. will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Pastor Doug and Evelyn Newberry will officiate. Burial will follow in Griffin Memorial Gardens.Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
