Mrs. Rosie Mae Jones

Mrs. Jones was born March 29, 1934 to the late Emil Arthur Koch and the late Lucie May Addison Koch. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Carey Weldon Jones, Jr. and son, Carey Weldon Jones, III. Mrs. Jones was a loving mother having raised five children. She was known for remembering everyone’s birthdays and always sent cards on time and never late. Without a doubt she truly loved her family.

Survivors include daughters & sons-in-law, Debbie & Don Thompson of Locust Grove, Diane & Mike Chafin of Gainesville, Tabitha & Dwight Kitchens of Griffin; son & daughter-in-law, Doug & Dawn Jones of McDonough; daughter-in-law, Barbara Jones of Molena; grandchildren, Amy & Jeremy Day, Christy & Randall Brown, Chris & Amy McCall, Michael Chafin, Brittani Smith & Brandon Rivers, Austin Jones, Haley Jones and 7 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Mae Jones will be held today at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Rev. Glen Todd will officiate. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens.
