Mr. Skelton was born on November 17, 1934 in Jonesboro, Ga. He was the son of the late Maurice and Daisey Stanfield Skelton. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Jerrell Skelton; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Sharon Skelton; grandchildren, Brian Skelton and Heather Kendrick; great-grandchildren, Nathan Skelton, Madison Kendrick, and Austin Skelton; brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Garner, Charles Skelton, Gary Skelton, Karen Smith and Cheryl Pitts; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Maurice Skelton will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2:00Pm in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
