

Mrs. Earline Chappell Redding, age 76 of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital. Mrs. Redding was born February 5, 1940 in Griffin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Runette & Earl Chappell; siblings, Jack Chappell and Betty Shivers; husband, William Redding; daughter, Angela Redding; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Burns and Leona Redding and sister-in-law, June Redding. Mrs. Redding was a lifelong member of East Griffin Baptist Church and was employed by Griffin Industries for 20 years. She enjoyed flower gardening, spending time with her grandchildren having slumber parties, crocheting and cooking. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt and friend. Mrs. Redding is survived by her daughters, Renee Cox, Paige Mainor, Wanda & Stan Waddell and Rhonda & Tonja Cobb; 10 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Earline Chappell Redding will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Dr. S. Ed Hoard will officiate. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Saturday from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.
