Lois P. Langford

Mrs. Langford was born June 7, 1916. She was very strong in her faith and enjoyed reading the Bible. Mrs. Langford was a lot of fun and known as “a hoot”. Full of life, she loved to shop, spend time with her family and was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Gregory Phillips, Sr. and Allie Gay Phillips; her husband, Herman Odell Langford; granddaughter, Rita Baskett and siblings, Maecenas P. Roberson & husband Leonard (Doc); Lewis G. Phillips & wife Mavis and Thaniel A. Phillips.

Survivors include her son, Howard H. Langford, Sr. of Griffin; daughter & son-in-law, Emily Yvone Langford & Steve Thompson of Pinson, AL; grandchildren, Howard H. Langford, Jr. and Richard D. & Jacki Langford; 7 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Mildred Phillips.

A funeral service for Mrs. Lois P. Langford will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
