David Phillip Weldon

Mr. Weldon was born on May 17, 1949 in Atlanta, Ga. He was the son of the late Lamar and Corleen Robinson Weldon. He was known by many as a master wood worker. He was a big fan of the Falcons and the Georgia Bulldogs. In addition to his parents, Mr. Weldon was preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Friend.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Moore Weldon; children and their spouses, Candy and Scott Wright, Dawn and Ronnie Morris, Sean Weldon, and Michael Weldon; brothers and their spouses, Darrell Weldon, Doug and Janet Weldon, Danny and Rockie Weldon; several grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; mother and father-in-law, Jerry and Connie Moore; brother and sister-in-law, Bubba and Valerie Moore.

Memorial services for Mr. David Phillip Weldon will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Haisten McCullough Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mr. Weldon.
