William Yeutter McIntire

William "Bill" Yeutter McIntire died on August 10, 2015 in Gresham, Oregon at the age of 86. He was born on March 21, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to William and Edythe (Engler) McIntire. In 1946 Bill graduated from Frankford High School. Later he earned his B.S. degree in Chemistry at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1946-1948 where he was an X-Ray Technician. Bill first married Joyce Mae Drummond on October 17, 1953 in Bustleton, PA. Joyce died in 1991. In 2001 Bill married Betty Mannix in PA. Bill worked for 25 years in marketing sales at Cochran division for the Crane Company. He was a member of the Lions organization. He was a Lutheran. He enjoyed music, by playing the piano and organ and singing in the choir. He also enjoyed traveling, woodworking, gardening and feeding animals. Bill is survived by his loving wife Betty, Gresham, OR., daughter, Debra Lee McHugh, Hatfield, PA., son, Scott Gregory McIntire, Felton, Delaware, daughter, Brenda Jacqueline Clarke, Limerick, PA., son, Eric William McIntire, Chicago, IL., and three more daughters, Deborah Ann Peters, Troutdale, OR., Linda Louise Artman, Spring City, PA., and Betty Anne Grillo, Venice, Florida, son, Tom E.Mannix, Jr. Spring City, PA., sister Mary Anne May, Warminster, PA, 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to either Signature Hospice, 7632 SW Durham Rd. Suite 130, Tigard, OR 97224 or to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Services will be held at Limerick Garden of Memories Cemetery in Limerick, PA. No services in Oregon.
