It is with deep sorrow and affection that we announce the passing of Patti “PK” Ann (Phillips) Kelly, who left us peacefully on May 31, 2024, at the age of 74, in Fairview, Oregon. Patti was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose memory will be cherished and kept alive by her devoted husband, Don Kelly; her loving children, Kari, Jenni, and Chris; her daughter-in-law, Brandy; her treasured granddaughters, Kaylee, Ashlin, Savannah, and Brooklyn; and her adored great-granddaughter, Lola. She was preceded in passing by her parents, Melba and Emil.
Born and raised in Reedsport, Oregon, Patti graduated from Reedsport High School and went on to complete her education at Northwestern College of Business in 1969. It was in that same year that she united in marriage with her lifelong partner, Don Kelly, and together they embarked on a journey of love and companionship that spanned 55 years.
After working with the State of Oregon Vocational Rehabilitation Services she moved to her career at TLR where she held various positions ending in retirement as an export manager. She made many lifelong friends throughout her career that she stayed close with after retiring.
Patti's life was a testament to her unwavering commitment to her family. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as preparing meals for her loved ones and spending quality time with her family. Her home was a gathering place where everyone was welcome, and her Sunday dinners were a tradition that brought the family together in fellowship and celebration of their bond.
The family invites those who knew and loved Patti to join them in a traditional Celebration of Life service, which will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Kelly family residence. For further details, please contact the family directly.
Her kind spirit and loving heart have left an indelible mark on all who knew her, and she will be profoundly missed. May she rest in peace.
