We mourn the passing of loving husband, brother and uncle, Lloyd Woods. After a long career in journalism, Lloyd continued to be an active member of his community. He was a longterm volunteer for Meals on Wheels and served as a certified Ombudsman for the State Office of Longterm Care. He helped many people with his open and generous heart as he was kind and always wanted to help those in need.
Lloyd was an avid reader, a great cook, and a lover of all animals. He enjoyed camping and communing with nature, and spent many days hiking and enjoying this beautiful world we all share.
Lloyd is missed by family, friends, and those whose lives he touched with his boundless spirit.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; Lloyd Nelson Woods, Sr. and Margaret Wagner Woods, and by his brother, Robert Woods. Lloyd is survived by his loving spouse, Charlene Woods; sisters, Debbie Woods Braciszewski, Susan Woods Perry, and nephews Christopher Braciszewski and Robbie Braciszewski. His light will be missed.
