Judith Mary McGinnis Gipe

peacefully on July 15, 2021 at her home in Gresham, Oregon.

Judi spent most of her adult life in the North Clackamas / Gresham areas. She attended Orient Grade

School and graduated from Gresham Union High School in 1965.

She married Les Gipe in 1966. They had three children and later divorced. Judy is survived by her

children Julie Triplett, Jim Gipe (Kristine), John Gipe (Rachel), 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren;

her sisters Nancy Matthews, Suzy Falk and Pauline Ozias.

Judi worked at the Red Cross as a payroll specialist and later at Rentrak before retiring.

Judi loved to cook and bake. She made the best pies and desserts. It brought her joy to work in her yard

with as many flowers as she could plant. With a small fishpond, bird baths, and bird feeders, her yard

was beautiful. She enjoyed cruising and traveling to places in Europe, Africa, Peru, and many

other destinations. Judi mostly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who

adored her.

A celebration of life will be held on August 21, 2021 at 2:00pm at Bateman Carrol Funeral Home in

Gresham Oregon.
