John "Puiu" Ghinga was born on February 10, 1949 in Chier, Arad, Romania parents Livia and Gheorghe Ghinga both deceased. Livia (Mama Iie) passed away on September 9, 2000 and Gheorghe (Ticu) on May 29, 2016. Puiu married Florentina (Lucaci) in August 13, 1978 after 33 years of marriage she passed away March 25, 2013.
Puiu worked at Corbett School District where he retired in June 2019 after 20 years of service.
John (Puiu) is survived by his children; Paul and Brittany, sister, Fivia (Steve) Boros, niece Ligia (Toby) and their children Jacob and Sophie, nephew Daniel (Heidi), brother Gheorghe (Emilia), niece Natalia (Marcel) and their children, Darius, Amalia and Andrei, nephew, Sandu (Cristina) and their daughter Daria all of Pincota, Romania.
Puiu is also survived by his extended family: Liviu & Silvia Lucaci and family, Nicu & Neli Lucaci with family,
Anica & Gigi Miscu and family.
