Janice graduated from Gresham Union High School and went on to graduate from Oregon College of Education in Monmouth, Oregon. She met and married Lawrence (Larry) Crowley while in college.
Janice’s career as an elementary school teacher spanned over 30 years, the bulk of which was in the David Douglas School District.
Following retirement, she enjoyed traveling and was an active volunteer at the Gresham Senior Center and for Meals on Wheels. Janice also enjoyed researching her genealogy, meeting with her college girlfriends bi-annually, and engaging in DAR activities. Janice was an avid reader and loved to write and receive letters and cards. She was a good friend to many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We will always carry her in our hearts.
Janice was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Tom Brugger, her husband, and her grandson, Andy Pasi. She is survived by her brother Jim Brugger, daughters Kim Pasi (Vaea) and Kip Crowley (Warren), and grandchildren Adam, Tony, Alex, and Katelyn Pasi, and Will, Woody, and Tori McWilliams. Janice has 11 Great-Grandchildren.
“Those who have shown us love, brought us joy and made us laugh, have given us the lasting gifts of a beautiful life-and blessed our memories forever.”
No services are planned. Donations can be made to the Oregon Humane Society or Meals on Wheels in honor of Janice.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.batemancarrollfunerals.com for the CROWLEY family.
