Helen Lucile Robison Olson

Helen moved to Monmouth, Oregon when she was nine years old. Later she lived in Seaside, Oregon for 30 years. She had been currently living in Gresham.

Helen married Elmer F. Olson on November 23, 1938 in Seaside, Oregon. He died in 1985. Helen was a member of Rebecca Lodge #54 in Hillsboro, Oregon. She worked at the hospital in Seaside, Oregon. He was a hostess for the Miss Oregon Pageant.

Survivors include his daughter Judith Ann and her husband William “Bill” McAuley, of Portland, OR., two sisters, Hazel Swensen, of Salem, OR., and Mabel Robison, of Salem, OR., 1 grandchild, Kelly, and five great-grandchildren, Lyndsay and Derek McAuley and Genelle, Matthew and Kevin Langman. Helen was preceded in death by her son, Richard “Rick” Olson, who was a captain the U. S. Marine Corps., and her brother Glen Robison and a grandson David McAuley who died on November 22, 1996.

No services will be held. Private interment will be at Oceanview Cemetery in Warrenton, Oregon.
