Ellen Lucetta Eagon, 87 of Gresham OR, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. She was born on November 16, 1934 in Ogden, Utah to Raymond and Priscilla (Hodson) Bybee. She was a longtime member of the Women of the Elks in Gresham and a member of Lynchwood Church of God. Ellen was an avid bible reader and involved with several women’s bible studies over the years.
Ellen is survived by her son William Christopherson of Milwaukie OR; daughters Bonnie Cook of Vancouver WA, Sherrie Christopherson of Hillsboro OR, Jerri Lynn Madsen of Arizona and Jeanette Madsen-Dean of Gresham OR; brothers Raymond, Curtis and Gary Bybee all of Utah and Lyle Bybee of Nevada; sisters Rita Brown of Utah, Jean Bybee of Colorado and Della Allen of Utah; Eleven grandchildren and Eleven great grandchildren. Ellen was preceded in death by her brother Delane Bybee.
At Ellen’s request there will not be any formal services. Contributions may be made as donations to her favorite causes which included the Multnomah County Police Bureau, the Wounded Warrior Project or to Lynchwood Church of God. Arrangements entrusted to Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham, Oregon.
