Elijah James Ruiz born September 10, 2002 went to be with the Lord October 20, 2021. He is survived by his mom Samantha Ruiz, his sister Jayda, his grandmother Sandra Brown, his grandpa Darryl Pickens, one aunt and many uncles and cousins.
As a boy Elijah assisted with handicapped children at school even receiving an award upon 8th grade graduation. Elijah had a kind heart, a loving soul and a smile that melted hearts. As a young man Elijah was a hard worker and enjoyed working on cars, playing basketball with his friends, and playing video games. He was also great with animals. Elijah will be missed tremendously. He has so many friends and loved ones who’s hearts he touched. He was a magnetic person with a warm heart.
A Celebration of Elijah’s life will be on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home located at 520 W. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, Oregon.
