Dorothy Delores Belcher passed away on July 16th, 2017, in The Dalles, Oregon. Dorothy was born on July 27th, 1936, in Iliff, Colorado, to her parents: Lathie and Mollie (Rutz) Belcher. Dorothy grew up in the Gresham area, where she enjoyed living on the nursery land, her daily walks, and riding her bike.
In her later years, Dorothy moved to Maupin, where she lived at Canyon Rim Manor. She enjoyed the independence she had living there, and every morning she would get up to make herself a cup of coffee. She was very social, and she enjoyed talking to the other residents. She loved spending time with her family, watching other residents do Art and Craft projects, and wearing tiaras and beaded necklaces.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her siblings, Marlos, Darrold, and Daniel; and her nieces and nephew, Michele, Stacy, and Scott. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 22nd, 2017, at 12:00 pm at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home in Gresham. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
